The Sister’s organization maintains a donation site where those hopeful for a new beginning are allowed to come and “shop” for whatever they need. Women can choose from various items we have received as donations from the community. When a woman, with or without children, makes the choice to leave her abuser it usually involves setting up a new household. She most likely left everything behind. Women referred to us by SEMO Family Violence Council are not charged for the items they need to set up their new household.

The SEMO Family Violence Council donation site is located at the Sister’s compound in Bonne Terre, MO. Donations of household items are accepted on Friday and Saturday from 10am-6pm, the same hours as My Sister’s Place, located on the same property. Please join our volunteers who unpack & sort the donated items. Also there will be garage sales scheduled at the donation site to raise money, with all proceeds donated to the SEMO Family Violence Council. Please check our Events Calendar for future work & garage sale dates. In addition to donating household items at the site, we accept cash donations.
